Middlesbrough and Masvingo Alliance is a Community Interest Company (CIC) tasked to revive the twinning agreement between the two councils in April 1989.Our challenge is to evoke the same spirit that the relationship was launched more than 30 years ago and interpret it in today’s language making the vision plain and relevant.

With just over 2 years since we started we have been mandated and supported by both the council of Masvingo and Middlesbrough. Our office in the United Kingdom has enjoyed support from the Mayor of Middlesbrough’s office and Zimbabwean Embassy in the UK.

Our links and connections are growing by day as we welcome local business communities and friends of MMA to participate in programmes and initiatives to promote cultural exchange and business growth. We are happy to announce our full membership to North East Chamber Of Commerce,which has opened up more opportunities for our partners and friends both in Masvingo and Middlesbrough.
